Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Volleyball Club (GYGVC) was founded in April 2009 and has and still is growing at an impressive rate. On this web site you will be able to find out about the clubs history along with its future plans, the latest news about the club and volleyball in the local area, upcoming fixtures and past results and much more. The aim of the club is to give anyone who wants to try or play volleyball in the Great Yarmouth area a chance to do so, catering for juniors and adults. The club currently has members ranging from ten to sixty years of age of mixed gender and ability. Take a look at the ‘About Training’ section to see what session might suit you best.
We are lucky at the moment to have some great coaches willing to give their time to develop the sport in the area, schools who want to see the game grow and the club develop into one of the most successful in the region and even the country. We are also very lucky to have a top class beach volleyball tournament that is held on our doorstep in June.
The club is already starting to develop a legacy, which you can find more out about in various places on this site, and is looking forward to continuing to grow and improve. We are always on the look out for new playing members, volunteers and potential sponsors and would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming involved in the club in any way.
